  usa politicians in charge of the economy for the past 50 years were too stupid to understand how the economy works.

  this just proves my theory, that an education on the top tier universities just sucks and means nothing in the real world, unless its in the stem education.

  for 50 years usa had zero tariffs on other countries.

  Like many of you, I understand people who leave one cult and jump into another. I see people refer to trump as "Dear Leader".

  Cults don't have elections. When a person stops reading the Watchtower, they can see all the deception they were under. My advice to you Lee Marsh is to stop watching fake news (and fake bible journals).

  Things Rutherford got wrong that Fred Franz had to clear up

  i was interested by the suggestion in a recent discussion that rutherford was in some way preferable to fred franz, because i’ve not come across this view before.

  it made me rethink my assumptions and try to work out why i hold the opposite view and prefer fred franz to rutherford.

  i haven’t done any additional research, so i’m only drawing on what i can remember off the top of my head, but i thought i’d list a few things where i reckon fred franz’s approach was preferable to rutherford.

  A perfect example of JW's who cannot seem to reason, only react like an animal when others do not submit to their authority.

  "Men can spray a field with chemicals that kill weeds but spare crops; too bad they cannot spray cities with bombs that blow the bad to bits but leave the innocent intact." (The Watchtower, 7/15 1955, p. 436)

  Imagine if the WT somehow got political power of the state. If technology would allow it, it looks like they wish to carpet bomb cities and kill everyone who are not JW’s.

  At any rate, it is not hard to imagine the radicalization of WT members spilling over into their own family members who dare to question the JW church. The recent "90% of children getting beat study" done recently in Japan supports this. If only we could get such a study in the USA!

  i knew a lady who was disfellowshipped for 20 years for smoking.

  she finally went back to the kh and since they couldn't find her paperwork, (all the former elders were dead) she was allowed back in without reinstatement.

  no one even remembered her.

  Soon, the two adult "witnesses" have "accidents". One healthy young woman dies of an "asthma attack'...with missing medication. Another "commits suicide"...357 in the face..

  Sounds like the witnesses I grew up with. I'll tell some similar stories one day.

  Here is a rather graphic Watchtower description of what will happen to Christians and others, who refuse to join Watchtower's “theocratic warfare”. It is from one of Watchtower's children's books: :

  "A flesh-eating plague will destroy many. . . . Eaten up will be the tongues of those who scoffed and laughed at the warning of Armageddon! Eaten up will be the eyes of those who refused to see the sign of the "time of the end"! Eaten up will be the flesh of those who would not learn that the living and true God is named Jehovah!   I don't know why and don't care. That's like comparing Hitler to China’s Mao Zedong and trying to figure out which one murdered the fewest people so you can determine your preference.

  Self control fruits of the spirit. Fat GB seem to lack it

  fruits of the spirit would surely be required to be gb members?

  yet some of them seem to lack self control when it comes to eating.

  br herd, mark sanderson and br jackson in these are all very obese.. if they travel to poor places wearing their rolex watches and gold pinky rings the brothers there will surely wonder why they are so fat.. there are many scriptures talking about not being greedy and not gluttonous for food.. if they were really chosen by god as his channel on earth then why can’t they show the fruits of the spirit and show self control when it comes to being gluttonous?.
